Ryan Tidwell was born in Dallas and grew up in north Texas. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Art History, with minors in Anthropology and Classics, from The University of Texas at Austin. She recently graduated from The Edith O’Donnell Institute of Art History at The University of Texas at Dallas, where she received her Masters in Art History. She wrote her Masters thesis, “Religious Rituals in Domestic Decoration on the Roman Bay of Naples,” with the help of her advisor, Dr. Michael Thomas. She is currently taking a gap year, before pursuing any PhD opportunities.
