Natalie M. Van Deusen

Natalie M. Van Deusen is the inaugural Henry Cabot and Linnea Lodge Professor of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Alberta, where she teaches a variety of courses on Scandinavian language, literature, and culture. Her research interests include Old Norse and Early Modern Icelandic paleography and philology, manuscript culture, hagiography and religious literature, disability studies, and gender studies, and she has published several books and numerous articles and book chapters on these topics. She is the President of the Association for the Advancement of Scandinavian Studies in Canada, and Editor for Scandinavian-Canadian Studies.
