Morgan Page

Morgan Page is an interdisciplinary artist and graphic designer from Houston, Texas. She primarily works in photography, installation, video, collage, and textiles. Her recent research interests include immigration, migration, textiles, and ghost towns. With immigration, migration, and textiles in mind, she renders migration patterns in the form of interactive installation and makes use of family heirlooms by way of collage and hand-stitched prints; this body of work is titled Capas (layers in Spanish). In partnership with Dustin Rice, Page is also studying and photographing abandoned pioneer towns in regions throughout the state of Texas; this series is titled Bones of Texas. Photographs and maps from Bones of Texas will travel to several galleries in 2019. As a graphic designer, Page has recently collaborated with artist Tom Russotti to design an interactive set for a game that brings together pop culture trivia with politics and geography; Foreign Affairs Game Show debuted at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana in February, 2019.
