Dr. Mehak Burza is the Program Coordinator for Online Global Initiatives at the Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies at The University of Texas at Dallas, where she develops global academic communication, digital humanities, and online educational initiatives. A pioneer in Holocaust education in India, her work focuses on Holocaust memory, trauma, identity, digital storytelling, and transnational Holocaust education. She is affiliated with the Center for Asian Studies and serves as Faculty in the Minor in Asian Studies program at UTD. Dr. Burza has held international academic and editorial appointments and contributes to global conferences, publications, podcasts, and digital Holocaust studies initiatives.
