Mark Rosen is Associate Professor of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he also currently serves as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies for the School of Arts and Humanities. A specialist in early modern art and cartography, he is the author of The Mapping of Power in Renaissance Italy (Cambridge University Press, 2015) and has published in The Art Bulletin, Oud Holland, the Mitteilungen des Kunsthistorischen Institutes in Florenz, and other journals. He also currently is President of the Italian Art Society.
