John McClellan Marshall
The Honorable John McClellan Marshall is Senior Judge and former Judge Presiding of the Fourteenth Judicial District of Texas, former Judge for the Dallas County Emergency Medical-Legal Project, 1986-2000, and for the Sabine Valley Child Protection Court, 2001-2004. He has also been Associate Historian at the Florida Institute of Technology and Technical Instructor at the Skylab Program at the Kennedy Space Center. He has written on the Bill of Rights, co-authored West’s Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and a history of the Apollo/Saturn V Launch Operations at Kennedy Space Center, and presented at the International Astronautical Congress. His writing has won awards from the George Washington Medal of Freedoms Foundation and the State Bar College. He holds degrees from the Virginia Military Institute, Vanderbilt University, and Southern Methodist University. He received an honorary LL.D. from the Academia Mexicana de Derecho Internacional and is a Life Fellow of the College of the State Bar of Texas and an Honorary Professor of the University, Marie Curie-Sklodowska University [UMCS], Lublin, Poland.
