Jamie McKendrick

Jamie McKendrick as born in Liverpool in 1955, and has published seven books of poetry, most recently Anomaly (Faber, 2018) as well as two Selected Poems. He edited The Faber Book of 20th-Century Italian Poems, and his translation of Giorgio Bassani’s The Novel of Ferrara was published by Norton in 2019. He has also translated selections of Valerio Magrelli’s poems, Vanishing Points (FSG, 2009) and of Antonella Anedda (Bloodaxe, 2014). A book of essays on art and poetry, The Foreign Connection, is forthcoming from Legenda.
