Ed Simon is the editor of Belt Magazine and a staff-writer for The Millions. A frequent contributor at several different national sites, with bylines at The Atlantic,The Paris Review, and The New York Times, Simon is also the author of over a dozen books, including Elysium: An Illustrated History of Angelology from Abrams and an entry in Bloomsbury’s “Object Lessons” series entitled Relic, both to be released in 2023. Currently he is finishing the first popular cultural history of the Faust legend for Melville House.
