Darren J. N. Middleton was educated at the Universities of Manchester, Oxford, and Glasgow before teaching in Memphis, and in Fort Worth where he has been since 1998. Currently, he serves as the John F. Weatherly Professor of Religion at Texas Christian University. In addition, he directs TCU’s Master of Liberal Arts Program. He has published twelve books, the most recent of which is Navigating Deep River: New Perspectives on Shusaku Endo’s Final Novel (SUNY, 2020).
