Alexander Schmid is a doctoral candidate in the Comparative Literature Program at Louisiana State University, where he matriculated after earning an MA from St. John’s College and a BA from Marquette University. Last year, he published his first two articles and two book reviews (two in Humanities and the others in Early Modern Digital Review and German Studies Review), and has four additional articles in the works. He won a dissertation fellowship from Phi Kappa Phi for the 2024-2025 academic year and has recently won an LSU Dissertation Year Fellowship for 2025-2026.
