Shivika Mathur is Assistant Professor of Instruction in Professional and Technical Communication within the Bass School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology at The University of Texas at Dallas. She holds a Ph.D. in Literature and carries over ten years of teaching experience in Rhetoric, Professional and Technical Communication, and select British and American Literature courses at the collegiate level. Shivika is also a published author of short stories and poems, and her literary pieces have appeared in Porch Litmag, Red Fern Review, Reunion: The Dallas Review, Reading Hour and Muse India.
